Wiley-X is a manufacturer of highest quality eye protection of civilian and military use. The used materials and solution guarantee excellent comfort of usage and optical quality. A wide array of available lenses, visors and accessories guarantee that the model can be adapted for particular conditions and needs. Ballistic version of goggles and glasses have more than once proven their efficiency by protecting the sight of soldiers from shrapnel, e.g. in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Black Ops series glasses were designed with daily use in mind and are characteristic for their sports appearance. The glasses are part of Climate Control series that provides a maximum comfort for eyes when used for high-airflow activities (bike riding, etc.) Frames are equipped with a special, removable insert from soft foam (FACIAL CAVITY™ SEALS) that provides additional insulation, e.g. from wind, dust or perspiration. Temple tips stop the glasses from slipping. Thanks to the fact that Climate Control series glasses minimize the discomfort connected with eye dryness resulting from the airflow. Especially recommended for people with dry eye syndrome.

The frames and glasses lenses alike were made in HVP™ technology (High Velocity Protection). Thanks to that they protect our eyes against damage that can be caused by objects moving at high velocity (all glasses that adhere to this norm can withstand an impact of a steel BB with a diameter of 6.35 cm travelling at a speed of 164.6 km/h). In addition, during the manufacture process of the lenses Hard Coating and Anti Fog technologies were used, which allowed to improve their resistance to scratches and practically eliminate fogging up.

All Wiley-X glasses and goggles meet the ANSI-Z87.1-2003 norm and many of the also meet the rigorous American norms of ballistic protection as well as feature NSN (NATO Stock Number) numbers. Tinted, polarized and photochromic lenses contain filters that protect from UVA/UVB radiation. Detailed information is provided in the description of every product.

The aforementioned is a top quality product that has undergone stress tests appropriate for its durability class. The manufacturer guarantees resistance to impact of solid objects within its durability class or granted certificates. Despite all this, in case of inadequate adjustment of the product, usage of this eye protection does not exclude bodily harm, for instance, resulting from the BB finding its way under the protective glass when ricocheting. That is why prior to use, it is recommended to properly adjust the eye protection to the individual needs of the user. Protective qualities of the product can also be subject to change as a result of improper use and maintenance of the aforementioned product, for instance, by cleaning the lenses with improper agents.
