All of the lenses are made out of optical glass and are protected by an anti-reflective coating. The optics provide a sharp, contrasting and clear image. At full magnification, the Moon looks phenomenal: you can even see its craters larger than 8 km in diameter. The optical telescope with a magnification of 5 times enables the device to be quickly directed towards astronomical objects. The classic elevation-azimuthal assembly is used for precise alignment. It allows the telescope to be moved effortlessly along all its axes. Even a child will be able to operate this telescope with ease.

The set includes most of the important optical accessories. The selection of the appropriate magnification for observation is done by changing the eyepieces. The diagonal prism/mirror is necessary for the study of terrestrial objects because it corrects the inverted image (telescopes flip the image up and down).
