Laser Designator - Black
Laser Designator
A laser designator - a type of a low power laser. Laser designators are used as firearms, pneumatic weapon and even crossbow attachments used for target pointing (and sometimes illuminating). Normally these are small devices mounted on accessory rails of weapons: Picatinny, Weaver or RIS. Laser designators are often and incorrectly called laser sights and mistaken for red dot sights (especially in non-brand, English literature).
Laser designators are built similarly to laser pointers and used during presentations or for fun. The difference between them lies in a switch on a cord or a fixed switch, the ability to adjust them and to mount them on weapons. Pointers emitting a laser beam in a range perceivable to human eye are used by the police and other similar services.
A fully-functional laser designator replica made of metal and equipped with a gel button. Due to the ability to fully adjust the laser beam, it is possible to precisely configure the device and adapt it to the user’s own needs as well as the weapon’s specification.
The device is equipped with a mount for a RIS 22 mm rail. It is powered by two CR123 cells and emits a green beam.
