The replica is made of metal and a durable  plastic - ABS. The body, the outer barrel,  the iron aiming sights and all RIS rails, as well as the small elements such as the trigger are made of metal, while the butt-stock and the profiled pistol grip are made of ABS and coated with a  fine layer of rubber, making the replica much more stable while handled. 

The iron aiming sights are mounted on the RIS rail and may be taken off to be replaced with a red dot sight if needed.  The Stubby Killer is another variation of the popular M4, so spare and upgrade parts, as well as clips, are easy to get.

The battery included in the set fits into the butt-stock. Reinforced TORQUE-UP gears, a metal spring guide, a reinforced gearbox and a reinforced piston with metal teeth lengthen the life of the replica, while a high-torque motor combined with low-resistance cables improve its work.

Because of the proper balance, the replica's weight is almost imperceptible, as it usually has place with  replicas of the Stubby Killer family. It makes the  maneuvering of gun, as well as operating it in small spaces, fairly easy. It's easy to perceive, that this replica has been designed especially for close combat.
