AKM GBBR Rifle Replica

The AKM gas-powered rifle from Tokyo Marui is a project on which work was carried out long after the premiere of the M4 MWS replica. As to be expected, the AKM uses the same ZET system found in the M4, meaning this AK will likely be one of the most reliable AK replicas on the market today.

Externally, the AK is characterized by a unique level of attention to detail, and even has old Soviet markings. The pistol grip is so well made that it is perhaps one of the replicas most original features. Even though the metal from which the replica was made is a zinc alloy, it is still very durable. On the other hand, the dust cover, the stock butt, the firing selector and the cylinder cover are made out of steel. Thanks to the use of a special resin print on the handguard and the stock, the wood grains look very realistic. In addition, the manufacturer wanted to reproduce the replica itself as faithfully as possible: the texture of the bolt, the grip finished as Bakelite material by painting, and the dust cover made out of pressed steel as in the real firearm counterpart.

Internally, AKM is based on the same ZET system that is located in MWS. Which means that the replica is very efficient. Due to the use of a wider piston (approx. 19 mm), the rifle has a very strong Blow-Back. Additionally, it is a model with a realistic operating method by installing an auto stop. After the last BB has been fired from the magazine, it is not possible to release the so-called "dry shot". 

The magazine with a capacity of 35 BBs is made of cast aluminum.
